The european explorers and the first americans had conflicts and they also cooperated.
They had to cooperate with tecknologys such as we gave them wheels and stuff and they gave us canoes to travel in. Also in the trade one would give like crops and then the first americans would give us furs and stuff. they would also trade different crops.
They would also have problems with diseases. The settlers bought like small pox and typhus over and the first americans bodies wer'nt amune to it cause many of them to die. There would be some settlers who would want to trade but then others didnt want to trade so they would attack the first americans and steel the furs and stuff and they would sell it for more than it was worth. lastly if you didnt know signals of you wanting to trade who could affend one another and the oposite would kill you or somthing.
